Is He Worthy

Welcome to Bethel’s Hymnal, a podcast where we take a few minutes each week to reflect on the songs our church sings and let God’s truth shape our lives. These are our songs—gifts for every generation to sing together in worship.

In this episode, we reflect on the song “Is He Worthy”—a call-and-response of hope drawn from Revelation 5. In the tension of a broken world, we join John in longing for redemption and lift our eyes to the One who alone is worthy to fulfill God’s redemptive plan. As we sing, we remember that our weeping gives way to worship, for the Lamb who was slain has conquered.
